The Rewind Technique is a tried-and-tested approach to treating PTSD and phobias
For many years, severe anxiety-based conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder or phobias were considered treatable only through long, painful exposure therapy, and in some cases, not at all.
Now, thankfully, we have access to a comfortable, effective treatment that can greatly reduce, and even remove, traumatic or phobic symptoms quickly.
40% of clients rated rewind as extremely successful.
53% rated it as successful.
7% rated it as acceptable.
No one rated the Rewind Technique poor or as a failure.
Prior to rewind, on average clients rated their well-being as 12 out of 50.
Seven to 10 days after treatment, the average score was 30.3 out of 50.
Three to six months later, the average score was 32.2.
This represents an improvement of 167.4 per cent on their original ratings.
A four-year study carried out within NOVA (part of the Barnardo’s charity) showed similarly impressive results:
Study size: 47 people, 57% of whom treated with Rewind alone.
26 would have met the criteria for PTSD.
After treatment none of the forty-seven people treated met the criteria for PTSD.
There was also a significant reduction of all sub symptoms associated with PTSD, five categories had zero reports after treatment.
(Human Givens journal Volume 14, No 4- 2007)
Rewind does not need you to go over the traumatic incident(s) again
Many people with trauma or phobias have been treated using approaches which drag them back through the experience again; a highly unpleasant thing to have to do.
This does not happen with the Rewind, and I do not in fact even need to know the details of what happened to you.
So if you suffer from PTSD or phobias I think I can help, so please click on the link below to book a Free Exploratory Consultation and I can tell you anything else you need to know.

World Hypnotism Day is observed in recognition of Dr Jack Gibson, Irish surgeon who performed over 4,000 procedures using hypnosis as an alternative to anaesthetic and later spent much of his career using hypnotherapy to treat mental health conditions.
In addition to celebrating Dr Gibson’s work, the day emphasises that hypnosis is not about mind control, and strongly wishes to dispel people’s fears and misconceptions that they could somehow be forced to behave in a way that might cause them to look or feel foolish or even be potentially harmful.
This day creates an opportunity to invite people, to be fully assured that we do in fact go through various stages of hypnosis several times throughout our life, each and every day – even while we’re driving!
We’re all familiar with the term micro-sleep, that sensation we get when we’re driving, having covered quite large distances with no memory of having made the journey. Our brain is in the same relaxed state as hypnosis, both as we drift off to sleep and just as we are awakening; and most commonly is in that wonderfully relaxed state as we doze off in front of the telly.
The truth is, hypnotism is an extremely powerful tool and proven to be one of the most efficient processes for effecting positive personal change. When applied with the teachings of the likes of Dr Bruce Lipton and Dr Joe Dispenza as a way to heal the physical body and even re-assign the genetic expression of genes to eradicate and even prevent such diseases as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s all once thought to be incurable.
With that in mind, there is enormous potential to help eradicate all manner of sickness and disease, even those completely misunderstood or considered inherited and therefore beyond our control. The application of hypnotherapy for healing, health and wellness are infinite for everything from anxiety to infertility – the possibilities are endless. And it is all the skill of the practitioner to direct the client to use the power of his/her own mind to achieve their desired results.
As individuals we are no longer a victim of circumstance, bad luck or faulty genetics – we literally have the power to affect our DNA at a cellular level from deep within our subconscious mind.
Who’s using hypnosis? Anybody who’s anybody, these days. Elite athletes have long known of the winning edge that can be achieved, not through harder training, but through the power of employing their own mind to visualise their desired results long before they step onto the field. Actors are also well versed in utilising the skills of hypnosis to achieve everything from overcoming nerves, helping to memorise lines, prepare for a difficult role, shed weight or to really connect with fellow actors in character to deliver a more authentic performance. The medical field, as mentioned turns to hypnosis as a completely all-natural, drug-free, non-invasive alternative to anaesthetic for all manner of medical procedures, even mind -blowingly – deep brain surgery (no pun intended!). And of course we are well aware of the use of hypnosis in dealing with compulsive type behaviours.
Whatever your background, whatever your pre-conceived ideas of hypnosis – World Hypnosis Day 4th January – is the day to really get to know what’s what “and listen to our now awakening sixth sense” – Henry Reed.

Hypnotherapy is the #1 Shortcut to effective Anger Management.
Unlike talk therapy which is great for getting people to talk about their problems, Hypnotherapy helps the person to identify the root cause of their anger whilst in a perfectly calm and relaxed state. While “asleep” the client is guided to unlock the subconscious mind and discover what types of situations might trigger an angry response – and why. Hypnosis allows the client’s thought patterns to be “re-programmed” to be less re-active and more pro-active in relation to different situations; re-directing the neural pathways in the brain, freeing the person to remain unperturbed by many of life’s stresses. Hypnotherapy is a fast, effective way for people to stop feeling the discomfort of their anger and be liberated to live a happy, healthy life.
What is Anger?
Anger is an emotional response to something we perceive as a threat – a threat to our life, our safety, our sanity, our well-being… Ironically, we view the angry person as threatening. If we’re angry, our survival mechanism has been triggered – it’s connected to our fight or flight response to stress – in Anger’s case, it’s “fight” – so, it’s an impulse for self-preservation. When we are “pushed” into a state of fear – anger arises as a conscious decision to not be afraid, and drive away the threat we perceive.
“In one respect, anger is a good thing. “
Mostly, we are afraid of Anger. It’s one of the most daunting emotions. Socially, anger is frowned upon and made wrong – because it is often expressed through aggression. Angry behaviour is the cause of conflict, and it is perceived to demonstrate a lack of self-control. Picture the toddler throwing a tantrum in the shopping centre… a distressing sight… we judge the child to be a spoilt brat… and we judge the parent for not being in control of the child. The truth is, the child has no idea why he/she is angry, but it is most definitely rooted in fear. It might be a fear of missing out, or a fear of being abandoned, for example.
An angry dog might seem aggressive, but it is usually acting in defence, to what it perceives as a threat. It might be defending it’s territory or it’s family. It’s own safety might feel compromised, triggering an “angry” outburst. Angry people are very much the same – they are actually acting defensively… but with a show of aggression. We demonise anger as bad or wrong because anger can hurt people and hurting someone is bad or wrong. Therefore, we judge the angry person to be bad or wrong and often punish or reprimand them in response to angry behaviour.
We believe angry people need to be punished in order to modify their behaviour. We reject and isolate people who have acted aggressively in response to their anger, presumably to protect others, but pushing them into a state of powerlessness and vulnerability – incites more anger to help push them out of the fear that underlies the anger. If you ask an angry person what they’re angry about – they can give you a hundred reasons, but if you ask them what they’re afraid of, they’re often not aware it’s fear motivating them to become angry.
“Anger is an emotion, and it’s a valid one; we need to understand, that the angry person needs to be supported emotionally, rather than punished and rejected. If we stop demonising anger – especially in children – we will see less aggression and put an end to domestic violence.”
It is the angry person’s responsibility to learn to deal with their anger, but they often don’t know how. Because we’ve been taught that anger is bad, people have become very clever at suppressing and hiding their anger for years or even decades. Suppressed anger may either erupt violently or if it remains in the body it can cause chemical changes in cells that may lead to cancer or other serious illness. If you’re becoming angry at things that wouldn’t normally bother you, definitely seek help.
Obviously, if you’re confronted by someone in a rage, your first priority is your own safety. Remove yourself and any children in your care from the situation immediately. By making an empowered decision to protect yourself, you’re not taking the role of victim – minimising your chances of also becoming angry – and further, you’re not allowing a situation where the other person has to assume the role of perpetrator – which they’re already uncomfortable being.
Ideally, we would be able to validate the person’s anger before there is any sign of violence or aggression. Make it OK to be angry by acknowledging that they are angry – this helps them identify the emotion within themselves. Avoid punishing someone for being angry – especially children – because this causes them to feel bad for feeling the way they feel – this triggers feelings of powerlessness and a sense of fear to which they will eventually respond to with more anger. If possible, ask what they believe is making them angry and let them know that they’re entitled to feel that way – even if they’re angry at you or some perceived slight you’ve enacted against them. Discuss different ways they may be able to express their anger constructively – like kick a ball around the back yard.
By supporting an angry child you are teaching him/her that their feelings are acceptable and that they, too are acceptable. Let them know you approve of them, unconditionally – no matter what they’re feeling. For more information on how hypnotherapy can be used to help manage anger click here. Hypnotherapy is a Safe, Effective, All-natural, Drug-Free Alternative Treatment. Don’t suffer the pain of Depression – Live a free, happy and fulfilled life.
Picking up from where we left off in Part I, where we talked a bit about the history of depression… and how that led to an idea that it is a medical condition caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain… starting a treatment approach using anti-depressant medication… but that theory was never actually proven…
That’s right. The story about Depression being caused by low levels of serotonin in the brain can’t be discredited because it was never actually credited – according to Professor of Psychiatry, Dr David Healy. And because, there are people who’ve been on anti-depressant medication, literally for decades with little to no improvement… it has prompted people to start looking for what else they can do to deal with Depression. Which, let’s face it, depression is not just debilitating at times, but even life threatening.
Hypnosis as an alternative or complimentary treatment for Depression…
Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation; a quietening of the conscious mind. This makes it extremely helpful to slow down those looping thoughts of harsh, critical words that tend to play over and over in the mind of a depressed person. This tends to happen because our mind is scanning the memory bank for ways to identify an explanation for our pain and fix the problem of not having one or more of our inherent needs met. This is part of our survival mechanism to escape the threat of pain.
What are our inherent needs and how does this relate to Depression?
We as humans have a number of inherent physical needs such as air, water, food, warmth and safety in order to survive. We also have a number of emotional and psychological needs such as love, belonging, significance, certainty and variety as well as a need to contribute in order to thrive.
“Depression is caused by not having one or more of our inherent needs met, as well as the looping negative thoughts that play in our mind.”
Hypnosis can help lower cortisol levels (stress hormones), that often go with depression, help improve sleep, increase energy, boost motivation, which in turn boosts confidence and self-esteem and create new neural pathways (aka trains of thought) that are more positive and encouraging. BUT BEST OF ALL… Hypnosis is a perfect way to unlock the subconscious mind to uncover when/where/how/why those looping negative thoughts ever got started and also discover which of our inherent need/s are not being met. Once we understand that, we can work out ways to meet those needs and, through hypnosis, reprogram the mind to be motivated, not only to see things in a more positive light, but also do things which provide proof to the subconscious mind, that life is good and getting better all the time.
How is Hypnotherapy different to traditional talk therapy or CBT?
Hypnosis, and in particular the Rapid Transformational Therapy™ brand of hypnotherapy, is quick. Combining regression, integration and emotional transformation in as little as one, two-hour session. In severe cases of depression it may take two or three sessions with some follow up support calls, but certainly not years and years of rehashing the same issues without ever understanding what to do with them after that. Hypnotherapy gives people a lot of hope that there’s not only light at the end of the tunnel, but there’s a way out of it completely.

Discover Hypnotherapy as a Safe, Effective, Non-invasive, All-natural, Drug-Free Alternative Treatment For Depression and live a happy, fulfilling life.
If you’ve ever been diagnosed with Depression, you’ve probably been told it’s a medical condition caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain and if you Google it, you’ll most likely read that it’s a mental illness that can be caused by anything from genetics, brain biology, trauma, grief, difficult relationships, adverse childhood experience or extreme stress. So while Depression is one of the most common conditions with over 300 million sufferers worldwide – it is also quite possibly one of themostmisunderstood disorders of the mind.
History of Depression Treatments
Still known as “melancholy” right up to the Victorian era, it wasn’t until 1856 that depression was considered a medical condition. Ever since then the treatment for depression has been predominantly drug therapy with anti-depressant medication. More recently talk therapy including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) has been paired with the drugs as the most popular treatment – HOWEVER – there are people who have been on anti-depressant medication for decades which has many people questioning the validity of their use.
Why have I been on Anti-depressants for twenty years and still don’t feel any better?
It’s one of the questions Johann Hari, best selling author and social scientist from the UK wrote about in his book Lost Connections – Uncovering the Real Cause of Depression. He, himself suffered with depression for years and wasn’t getting any better with ever increasing doses of anti-depressant medication. Whilst no-one is dismissing the use of anti-depressants as a treatment option, there’s an ever-increasing number of people who challenge their effectiveness in actually alleviating the problem. Many, including the World Health Organisation have concluded that depression is in fact, not caused by lower levels of serotonin in the brain but is an indicator of the state of our mental health as a society.
Professor Andrew Skull of Princeton University is quoted saying that – the story about depression being caused by low serotonin levels [in other words a chemical imbalance] is “deeply misleading and unscientific” while UK Professor of Psychiatry David Healy says “that the story can’t be discredited because there was never a time when it was credited!”
Don’t settle for outdated treatments…ask more questions.
If you’ve been diagnosed with depression and have been living with the condition for years and don’t feel like you’re getting any better, start asking more questions. Look for alternative therapies, like Hypnotherapy. To put some perspective on this, the Hamilton Scale measures depression based on a number of questions and gives a rating between 0 (no depression) and 56 (severely symptomatic, suicidal). Regular meditation could lower the score by up to 8 points whereas anti-depressant medication lowers the score by around 1-2 points.
“I believe that depression is an emotional disorder more so than a mental disorder, but because they’re so closely related it gets categorised as a mental health problem – it’s often unclear which comes first since our thoughts trigger our feelings which then add meaning to our thoughts. It’s almost a never-ending cycle. I would absolutely love for people to consider this – depression is caused by not having one or more of our inherent needs met,” says Roberta.
We have inherent physical needs for air, food, water & warmth to survive, but we also have inherent emotional and psychological needs for love, belonging, senses of significance, certainty and variety as well as a need to contribute to others in order to thrive. If any one of these inherent needs are not met, we can’t thrive and in the case of our physical needs not being met, our survival is under threat. UK Professor Michael Marmont (educated here in Sydney) said, “our culture is not meeting our needs” as we become more and more isolated, by the way we live. We’re no longer tribal, we each go home to our own little box, with less and less interaction with other people, we don’t chat with the cashier at the grocery store check-out anymore, drones are delivering our pizza. You can see how this is happening and why it is getting worse as time goes on and technology improves.
In addition to not having one or more of our inherent needs met is the presence of harsh, critical words we hear in life, which in times of stress, we repeat to ourselves. For example, if our inherent need for a sense of significance is not being met, our subconscious mind will often look for an explanation for that and actually create a notion that we are not “good enough”. We then look for, (or create) evidence to back that up; not finding a suitable partner, being overlooked for a raise, etcetera. It plays over and over in our mind as a looping thought that we come to believe, which ultimately leads to depression, its very difficult to break out of that cycle without knowing how it started; that’s how hypnotherapy helps.
In Part II of this discussion, we discover how Hypnotherapy is a safe, drug-free, all natural and very effective alternative treatment for Depression. In hypnosis, you can uncover the root cause of those looping thoughts and break the cycle without the harmful side effects of drug therapy. You will also discover ways to meet your inherent needs to live a happy and fulfilling life. Alternatively, you can book a Free Discovery Call by clicking on the link below.

Ringing in the Ears? Cure Tinnitus Naturally and Permanently with Hypnosis.
What is Tinnitus?
Commonly known as ringing in the ears, Tinnitus can also be characterised by a high pitch whine, buzzing, clicking, tapping or chirping sound and is often associated with a hearing loss or impairment.
What Causes Tinnitus?
Tinnitus has been related to incidents of head injury, whiplash, exposure to excessive noise, as a side effect of certain medications or even a build up of ear wax. However, there is strong evidence to suggest that the presence of these conditions can be co-incidental to the tinnitus and therefore not the cause at all. In fact, there is thousands of documented cases of tinnitus with no apparent cause – it just showed up out of nowhere.
The truth is our ears are particularly sensitive to changes in pressure – which in turn is affected by energetic charge in the atmosphere.
It’s why dogs can “sense” the coming of a storm even before the clouds appear – we too can sense the change in vibrational energy through the changes in atmospheric pressure.
Our ears don’t just react to the shifts in physical energy, but also the shifts in emotional energy which also vibrate the way sound waves vibrate. Our bodies are transmitters and receivers of information through this vibrational energy and our ears can pick up on emotional vibrations.
Wait! Emotions Vibrate? And We Can Hear Them?
Yes, you can “hear” when someone’s happy, sad, angry or afraid even when you can’t see their face or hear their voice – they send out a vibrational energy that we inherently recognise as a particular emotion.
“That’s why you can usually tell when someone’s not happy – we “sense” the way people around us are feeling. Our bodies pick up on the vibrations that others give off – at a subconscious level,” says Roberta.
How does this “vibe” become Tinnitus?
An emotional memory has been triggered in the subconscious mind, and the body is responding to it by adding a ringing in the ears to get our attention. Possibly an emotion you don’t recognise or an emotion attached to an event you don’t remember – it may have been too painful or frightening to remember. The amygdala in our brain senses something foreign, unfamiliar, or frightening it sends a message through the sympathetic nervous system to activate fight or flight mode and we experience a sense of distress which presents as tinnitus.
For example, I saw a middle-aged gentleman, who had fallen down an old mine shaft as a 2 year old – he didn’t remember the experience, only what he’d heard his parents tell about the story… but as you can imagine it must have been quite frightening for him as a child – not to mention how much of a fright it would have caused his parents. He developed tinnitus after watching a news story about a group of kids trapped in an underground tunnel – because at a subconscious level, his mind was remembering his own experience and was triggered to vibrate the sound of the emotions he experienced as a kid. In hypnosis, he was able to remember the childhood incident and make the emotional connection between that and the news story; and help his mind understand that any perceived threat had passed; then… the tinnitus stopped.
How can Hypnosis cure Tinnitus?
Quite simply, hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation in which we can help a person unlock the subconscious mind and discover the emotion or the event in which they first experienced that emotion that might have caused them enough pain or fear that they needed to shut it away. Even if the tinnitus was triggered by a more recent event such as an injury, the subconscious mind is using this as an opportunity to show you something that it wants you to know. This is called regression and it’s just like opening up an old file from a filing cabinet to help you better understand something that’s happening in the present.
Not only that, hypnosis is the state at which our minds are at their most receptive to new ideas, so it’s the perfect way for a person to change the way they feel about something and decide not to be bothered by it any more. This is the transformation stage of the process and the reason why, the results can be made permanent.
Hypnotherapy is an all-natural, drug-free, non-invasive treatment for many issues and tinnitus is one of the latest and most exciting issues to be tackled using hypnosis because it has previously been thought to be incurable. Hypnotherapy is the answer.

Erectile dysfunction. Impotence. Lack of desire. Pain during intercourse. Premature ejaculation. Inability to reach orgasm. Frigidity. Pain on climax. Testicular Pain. Issues Involving Enlarged Prostate. Sex not fun?
Sexual Dysfunction is defined as any problem occurring during any phase of the sexual response cycle that prevents the individual or couple from experiencing satisfaction from sexual activity.
Can occur in both men and women.
Can be a deal breaker in relationships.
How can hypnosis help?
Isn’t this a mechanical problem?
Firstly, lets understand that sexual function is an internal communication process involving:
the senses – see, hear, smell, touch, taste
the brain,
nerves,
muscles,
blood vessels…
and throw in a bunch of hormones and
emotions
and the obvious body parts (genetalia)
so, there’s a number of areas where problems could arise…
For a certain number of people, aging is a factor – it’s true that, as we age, hormone levels decrease which can affect our ability as well as our desire to perform sexually.
Also, sexual dysfunction can be a warning sign for something that needs your urgent attention like Diabetes, Heart Disease, Hypertension & Alcohol Abuse. It’s wise to check with a Doctor.
Wait! Before you spend a fortune on little blue pills…
Data shows that as many as 20% of men and around 40% of women sufferers, develop sexual dysfunction as a result of a stressful event in their life.
I’d like to suggest that the numbers are actually higher, based on the fact that so many people aren’t even aware of a particular event that might have set this off – so clever is our subconscious mind at trying to protect us from painful memories – it will hide them away for us.
The trouble is, the emotions experienced at the time remain, only we don’t really know what they are, but they will show up as… you guessed it… problems in the bedroom.
For example, a 22 yo male client who witnessed his older sister being abused as a child, had no conscious memory of that ever occurring, but in hypnosis he recalled her distress and in his child’s mind at the time, vowed he would never do, to anyone, the thing that made her so upset. He created erectile dysfunction in relationships as a result – so powerful was his conviction.
So how exactly does hypnosis work to help with this?
In hypnosis – which is a lovely, deep state of relaxation – we can discover what the original stressful event in a person’s life was – in a safe way – they don’t have to re-live it – they can review it from a distance for the purpose of understanding it and merely identify the emotions they were experiencing at the time – without actually having to re-experience them.
Then imagine we can change the meaning of that stressful event in that person’s mind, so that it no longer causes them distress – neutralise it, so to speak – whether it’s a childhood event or even stress at work interfering with relaxation at home…
Sounds simple?
Yes, it certainly can be – plus we can add a brand of intervention called Cell Command Therapy trademarked by Marisa Peer – where, in hypnosis we can program the mind to restore, recreate, and reactivate the sexual function of the body at an atomic and sub-atomic level.
How is Hypnosis Different?
For starters, you don’t have to take your clothes off to have treatment. Hypnosis is a completely non-invasive, all natural, drug-free, holistic therapy. With technology, you can have a session via video-call from the comfort of your own home. Private and professional services mean there’s less embarrassment while sitting around in clinics or waiting rooms.

It can be used to treat all types of pain from chronic pain, nerve pain, joint pain, headache and the pain of injury. Hypnotherapy is very useful for the treatment of psychogenic pain – or the pain of depression, anxiety, grief or loss.
“The mind can be programmed to “block” the neurotransmitters carrying the pain message to various parts of the body.”
How does hypnotherapy work on pain?
Psychologist, Dr Susanne Babbel, who specialises in trauma and depression is quoted in Psychology Today as saying, “Studies have shown that chronic pain might not only be caused by physical injury but also by stress and emotional issues. Often, physical pain functions to warn a person that there is still emotional work to be done.”
The sub-conscious part of our mind can create physical symptoms to alert us to a deep emotional problem. It is in fact, the emotional issue that is the root cause of all pain, disease and illness. Arthritis, cancer, fibromyalgia, migraine, PTSD, depression, chronic fatigue, infertility, PCOS, endometriosis and so on all have emotional root causes that can be discovered and “uninstalled” from the sub-conscious mind through the use of hypnosis.
My Pain is Real! I’ve had tests to prove it!
Yes! Absolutely, your pain is real! No-one is arguing the validity of your pain being real or not; nor is it about patronising any person and making their pain “real for them”. It’s true, your pain IS VERY real and yes, the suggested cause of your pain can be corroborated by any number of tests and diagnostic tools.
It’s usually, at this point, many people get defensive, become outraged at the mere suggestion that their pain or their illness is “all in their head”.
“What I’d like everyone to start to challenge is, not just how that pain got there, but why? Yes, I know the scans showed there was inflammation – but why? Without going into every symptom of every disease and ailment, think about your own pain for a moment. Where did it come from? Where did it all start?”
Not convinced…?
Use Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) as an example. According to the Mayo Clinic, Rheumatoid arthritis is:
“…a chronic inflammatory disorder that can affect more than just your joints. In some people, the condition can damage a wide variety of body systems, including the skin, eyes, lungs, heart and blood vessels. An autoimmune disorder, rheumatoid arthritis occurs when your immune system mistakenly attacks your own body’s tissues…there is no cure…we don’t know why this occurs…”
We’ve established the fact that the pain is caused by the swelling, the swelling is caused by the auto immune system attacking the tissue lining the joints, but WHY? Why does our immune system attack our own body? This applies to every autoimmune disease. There are no medical tests, that doctors can perform to answer that question and so it remains a “mystery” in the field of medicine. The answer, does however, lay in the mind – in the deep, subconscious part of the mind where our emotions are created and memories of our emotional experiences are stored – it’s linked to the part of the mind where our DNA is created.
Epigenetics – the scientific explanation…
Epigenetics is the term used to describe the study of how our genes can create traits (which can be passed from one generation to another) other than through our genetic coding in our DNA. In other words it looks at how our DNA is not actually “fixed” but rather can be altered at a molecular level. Research conducted at places like the British Society for Cell Biology is proving that changes can occur within our DNA as a result of our emotional experiences. This not only explains how diseases and illnesses were ever created in the first place but also, how they have been passed through genetic lineages and seen as a “family history” of a particular disease or illness.
You can reprogram your DNA!
“The good news about this is, if DNA can be affected to create a disease, it can be reprogrammed to UN-create it,” says Roberta. “Even after several generations.”
Need more convincing?
Dr Joe Dispenza, wrote a book titled You Are The Placebo: Making Your Mind Matter. He combines the latest research in neuroscience, biology, psychology, hypnosis, behavioural conditioning and quantum physics to demonstrate the power of the mind in both creating and healing pain, illness and disease. He shares dozens of documented cases of people who have reversed cancer, heart disease, depression, crippling arthritis and Parkinson’s through the power of their own mind as well as stories of others who’ve gotten sick and even died after being misdiagnosed with a fatal illness, believed in hexes or a voodoo curse, so strong was their belief.
“This is really exciting,” says Roberta. “Because it means, there is hope for sufferers of chronic pain and illness who want to eradicate the pain, not just manage it.”
How does the DNA get altered to create the pain or illness in the first place?
Extensive studies indicate that emotional experiences in childhood can create fear responses so deep in the sub- conscious mind that they remain largely hidden amidst any number of physical or psychological symptoms until they become intolerable or chronic disease in adulthood.
ACEs?
…is an acronym for Adverse Childhood Experiences, the study of which was developed in 1985 by Dr Vincent Felitti and conducted through the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention. Felitti discovered that most of the patients in his obesity clinic had a background of adverse childhood experiences such as physical, sexual and emotional abuse, physical and emotional neglect, household violence, drug and alcohol abuse and mental illness in primary caregivers. In one of the largest epidemiological studies in the US, more than 17,000 people of the study were examined and completed an ACE Quiz in order to determine a correlation between adverse experiences in childhood and health concerns, both physical and mental, later in life.
The study showed:
“…an individual with an ACE score of four or higher was 260% more likely to have chronic obstructive pulmonary (heart) disease than someone with a score of 0, 240% more likely to contract hepatitis, 460% more likely to experience depression, and 1,220% more likely to attempt suicide.’’
“A situation doesn’t have to be abusive to be traumatic for a child. Having the lights go out in a severe thunder storm or overhearing an argument can be frightening enough in a child’s mind to be etched there forever as one of the worst experiences of their life. From that moment, all the child’s beliefs are based on the meaning they placed on that feeling of fear.“
Stories created in the mind to protect the body…
Children, especially young children are not always capable of voicing their concerns and even when they do, they’re not always listened to. This can leave children to feel isolated and alone with their feelings.
More and more research shows that many of the chronic illnesses for which doctors cannot find a cause or a cure, have origins deep inside the subconscious mind. These include the autoimmune diseases, fibro-myalgia, IBS, PTSD, PCOS, Endo, the list goes on.
“I had a client who had headaches and high blood pressure. Doctors couldn’t find a cause, but kept increasing the medication, which was having adverse side effects. Through hypnosis we discovered that the person had a difficult birth – had been stuck in the birth canal and experienced the pressure and panic of mother, doctors and midwives trying to get him out”. The client had no conscious memory of that experience – it was buried deep in the subconscious mind and revealed in hypnosis.
Pain and illness, is your body’s way of demanding your attention to heal an emotional wound. A wound that you’ve artfully, yet subconsciously hidden and ignored for a very long time and now, your symptoms, are just like an alarm going off. Your pain is a call to action. Your body is screaming for attention. Don’t ignore it.
Hypnotherapy as an alternative to drugs for pain relief.
“Your body achieves what your mind believes” – a somewhat bastardised version of Napolean Hill’s words in his 1937 best seller Think and Grow Rich. When you are prepared to see your pain as a messenger telling you something that you need to know about your life URGENTLY, and you’re prepared to receive the message and act on it – Mission accomplished! The Pain can go! But…If you continue to ignore the messenger or mute it with drugs, alcohol or addictive behaviours it will continue to hound you for your attention, or kill you trying.
How does hypnotherapy work?
“I saw a client whose migraine headaches were from overhearing his mother repeatedly complain that his father’s drinking was “doing her head in” – it was his child-mind’s way, of having his need for parental attention met.”
“It’s not always clear what the pain’s message is,” Roberta says. “I can help you interpret the message, and guide you to understanding what your body is trying to tell you. Paying attention to your body’s signals is the kindest thing you can do for yourself. Getting to the root cause of your pain or illness is showing that you’re paying attention and to do that you need to go deep into the subconscious mind and unlock those hidden emotional experiences.
Science or magic?
This is not magic, this is the power of your own mind to heal your body at a molecular level and being guided by a caring professional to discover the truth of your pain and powerfully using your own thoughts to change your DNA and be free of dis-ease in your own body now and for generations to follow.
There are no incurable diseases when you know how and why they start and you believe in the power you have to heal yourself.

Let Me Treat Your PTSD or Phobia With Hypnotherapy
The Rewind Technique is a tried-and-tested approach to treating PTSD and phobias
For many years, severe anxiety-based conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder or phobias were considered treatable only through long, painful exposure therapy, and in some cases, not at all.
Now, thankfully, we have access to a comfortable, effective treatment that can greatly reduce, and even remove, traumatic or phobic symptoms quickly.
Research results for the Rewind Technique
Although research into the Rewind Technique is still in its infancy, one study carried out by the Human Givens Institute in the UK showed the following results:
Study size: 30 people
No one rated the Rewind Technique poor or as a failure.
This represents an improvement of 167.4 per cent on their original ratings.
A four-year study carried out within NOVA (part of the Barnardo’s charity) showed similarly impressive results:
Study size: 47 people, 57% of whom treated with Rewind alone.

World Hypnotism Day 4th January 2020

Hypnotherapy The #1 Strategy To Effective Anger Management
In crisis situation ring triple zero (000) in Australia. For support contact Lifeline on 131114, the White Ribbon Foundation or the Reach Out Program.
Hypnotherapy – No. 1 Best Alternative Treatment For Depression (Part II)
Don’t suffer the pain of depression any longer.
Discover how to live a life filled with joy, hope and fulfilment. Discover how to feel more motivated and have more energy to get up and do the things you really want to do. Discover The Best Alternative Treatment For Depression – Hypnotherapy (Part I)
Discover Hypnotherapy as a Safe, Effective, Non-invasive, All-natural, Drug-Free Alternative Treatment For Depression and live a happy, fulfilling life.
So while Depression is one of the most common conditions with over 300 million sufferers worldwide – it is also quite possibly one of the most misunderstood disorders of the mind.

Hypnosis Solves Tinnitus Problems

Holistic Pain Relief: Overcome Pain With Hypnotherapy
Whether it’s migraine headache, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, stomach upsets or the pain of depression, anxiety or PTSD, every pain, every discomfort, every dis-ease, every dys-function is your body’s way of trying to get your attention and to focus on a bigger or deeper emotional problem that it wants you to heal. It’s time to listen up!
Don’t let pain control you…
Clinical Hypnotherapist, Roberta McInturff wants everyone to know, there’s a lot you can do about your pain and it doesn’t involve taking more pills. It’s about finding the root cause of the pain and taking control of it, instead of it controlling you.
Looking for a safe and effective solution to pain?
Hypnotherapy is an all-natural, non-invasive, drug free, safe alternative treatment for pain. It can be used to treat all types of pain from chronic pain, nerve pain, joint pain, headache and the pain of injury. Hypnotherapy is very useful for the treatment of psychogenic pain – or the pain of depression, anxiety, grief or loss.

Science or magic?
This is not magic, this is the power of your own mind to heal your body at a molecular level and being guided by a caring professional to discover the truth of your pain and powerfully using your own thoughts to change your DNA and be free of dis-ease in your own body now and for generations to follow.
There are no incurable diseases when you know how and why they start and you believe in the power you have to heal yourself.
A whole new you around every seven years?
