Roberta McInturff
What can I say? My story is not unlike so many others. But the truth is, I don’t want to bore people with the sordid details of my past, because it’s just that, the past. Don’t get me wrong, I’m grateful for my life. I haven’t always been, believe me, but it got me to here, which is where I’ve always wanted to be. I get to live the life of my dreams, I never would have believed it was possible! My clients can trust that I know what it feels like to struggle and I’m thrilled to have been able to help hundreds of others transform their lives and there is nothing more rewarding than seeing people happy. It’s available to everyone and I can show you how.
Roberta’s Story…
Roberta was born in Brisbane, Queensland (Australia) to Christian parents and after a brief period living in the US, returned to attend primary schools at Oakleigh and Jimboomba as well as high school in both Beaudesert and MacGregor. Roberta left school to work primarily in hospitality and administration. She knew she wasn’t ready to attend University at that time.
Roberta had experienced long-term childhood sexual abuse, in a strictly religious family. She claims “the guilt, shame, self-loathing, hopelessness and isolation kept her stuck in victim consciousness”. Roberta ended up in abusive relationships, and was beaten because “I didn’t believe I deserved any better”. At the age of 24 Roberta was diagnosed with depression.
She recalls thinking at the time, “Wow, there’s a name for feeling this bad?”
Told it was a chemical imbalance in her brain, Roberta endured a “Merry-go-round” of doctors, psychologists and anti-depressant medication that lasted for years. Despite some of the best treatment Roberta felt no improvement. In fact she noticed the side effects of the medication including weight gain and stomach upsets only compounded the depression. Traditional medical treatments were simply not working.
“I’d had counselling with some very good counsellors; I’d talked about my problems until I was blue in the face, I even had CBT. I kept thinking, “There’s got to be more to life than this!”.
After having lost a close friend to suicide Roberta admits to seriously contemplating the same, and if not for her daughter she may very well have tried.
“Theres a name for feeling this bad”.
My philosophy
Roberta has dedicated nearly half her life to researching, studying and applying the philosophies of some of the most incredible teachers and programs from around the world to find the most profound, practical, realistic method of healing that is uniquely her own. Having had the incredible opportunity to study directly under the founder of Rapid Transformational Therapy, Marisa Peer, Roberta distinguishes,
“What impressed me the most about the Marisa Peer method is… it’s fast! To use her words “When somebody comes to you in pain, they want relief, not just to talk about it over and over”.
What Roberta like many others have found is, that RTT offers that relief using a unique arrangement of hypnosis, regression and NLP to get to the root-cause of almost any issue and quite literally sets people free to live the happy, fulfilling life they want and deserve. This method of hypnotherapy utilises the power of the mind to restore the physical body to full health and has been proven successful in treating cancer, autoimmune diseases, broken bones, allergies, skin ailments and infertility in addition to depression, anxiety and a plethora of other neurological, mental and emotional issues.
Healing and Transforming Lives
Roberta has successfully established herself as one of Australia’s best therapists using the RTT method. She has clients from all over the world, including elite athletes, professional writers, sales people even other therapists.
“The beauty of RTT is it’s for all people, from any background and can be conducted via videoconferencing with remarkable results. The transformation is incredibly liberating,” she said.
Roberta herself has successfully stopped smoking, lost weight and treated the depression using RTT. She travels quite extensively promoting RTT to groups, conferences and seminars as a completely safe, chemical-free, drug-free, non-invasive alternative to many traditional medical treatments.
I love being able to offer people this incredible hope at transforming their lives – there IS light at the end of the tunnel and I feel honoured to guide people on that journey.
